Denny Tedesco's film "The Wrecking Crew" opens

dennytedescoth.jpgThe Wrecking Crew documents the group  of musicians who ushered in rock and roll in 50's 60's and early 70's .  They were studio players who were on thousands of recordings  including Sonny and Cher, the Monkees, the Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, and many, many others.  They ere also the musicians who were known on the record labels as other bands like the T-Bones - which didn't exist but which had huge hits;  they were really the Wrecking Crew. Denny's father Tommy Tedesco was the center of the group - which ranged from 20 -30 people over the course of 30 years.  The film is a love letter to Tommy - who died in 1997 - and to the music that changed not only America's culture, but the world's.
